Hello & Welcome!

My Name is Craig and I started Garrett’s Canine Services in 2025. Working with dogs has been my lifelong aspiration. Like a lot of people who follow their dreams, it started with being stuck in a job that I had outgrown. This gave me the drive to build something that I could be proud of.

Before launching my business I spent years absorbing as much information and knowledge as possible. For me this meant networking with local dog walkers, trainers and behaviorists to learn about the industry. I also started reading every recommended book I could get my hands on! After some careful research I decided to complete the Professional Dog Walking & Sitting qualification with the well respected ISCP. I also gained my Canine First Aid Certificate to ensure that I was fully prepared.

In April of 2026 I embarked on the Canine Behaviour Colleges Level 6 Diploma in Clinical Canine Behaviour which will further my education and enable me to begin work as a behaviorist in the future.

I focus on ensuring the individuals in my care enjoy fun and enriching walks that provide the mental stimulation that they require to have a happy life! I limit my walks to small groups (max 4 (occasionally 5 if from the same house)).

It’s extremely important to me that my ethics shine throughout the work I do which is why when you choose me you’ll be getting someone who is kind, calm and gentle with your dog. This means I am force free and believe that dogs should be free from pain, fear, intimidation and aversive tools. (Prong collars, Shock collars, Haltis, Slip leads etc.)

Dog Walking

My group walks are perfect for busy people who don’t want their dog left home alone all day, I specialise in small, calm groups. I ensure the dogs in my care receive a walk that provides them with exercise and mental stimulation, the foundations for a calm dog at home.

*Solo walks also offered, but limited availability.

Does your pet struggle in a kennel environment? Some find the change in location and routine stressful.

I stay in your home to ensure they get the love and care they deserve whilst you’re away and you get piece of mind, knowing that they’re happy and safe.

Quick Visits

Sometimes you just need someone to feed and water your pet whether you’re away or just have a long shift, I’ll be there to break up the day and ensure they have everything they need to thrive in your absence.

This includes, dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, insects and any other pets you might have!
